First Line Therapy
First Line Therapy (FLT) is a lifestyle and wellness program that gives you the tools to plan a healthy menu, eat well, exercise gently, and reduce your stress. It helps you create an inspired new way of thinking about your own ability to affect your health with tremendous support at each step.
Think of this as a 12-week therapeutic lifestyle change!
The program offers a combination of thorough physical examinations, detailed menu planning ,and individual and group sessions to support many aspects of your well-being. According to the National Institute of Health, First Line Therapy is the first line of defense against Diabetes, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Obesity, and Cancer. This program provides a treatment option that manages, treats, and helps to prevent these chronic diseases through researched and tested lifestyle changes.
My goal is to help my patients feel enthusiasm for feeling better by building a foundation, giving them tools to improve their physical, mental, and emotional health.
The group sessions include Detoxification, Meditation, Healthy Weight Loss, and Gentle Movement Therapies, such as Yoga and Qi Gong. The one-on-one program includes meeting with your health care provider, physical evaluations, in-depth coaching, massage, and acupuncture.
What would it be like to have faith in your body’s ability to be well?
What are the benefits of the First Line Therapy Food Plan?
Answer: Stabilizing blood sugar and insulin is a primary objective of the food plan, as this leads to fewer complaints of hunger and cravings. The fluctuation of blood sugar is often the reason popular calorie-restricted diets fail. Improvements in blood sugar control may also significantly improve metabolic syndrome lab parameters, such as cholesterol levels, triglycerides, and blood pressure—the very same lab values that may have prompted you to suggest a lifestyle change program to your patients. Stabilizing blood sugar and insulin also contributes to a healthy body composition and preventing weight gain.
